Grounded Granola is a woman-owned, small-batch granola business built on real food and thoughtful ingredients.

I've always loved granola, but after my mom's Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis about 15 years ago, I learned that much of it is not the "health food" it's believed to be. After a lot of research, I began to replace the "empty calories" in my own diet with those considered nutrient dense and lower glycemic index. From there, I fell in love with eating real food. Fast forward to 2022, I lost my job in a corporate downsizing. Turns out this was just the rug that I needed pulled out from under me. Shortly thereafter, Grounded Granola began to take life at the end of my driveway as I handed out samples to parents walking their kids to school.

What sets us apart is our base recipe. It's more than 60% nuts and seeds, delivering more protein, nourishing fats and a steadier blood sugar experience....without sacrificing flavor. Our four flavors are handcrafted in small batches, with an artisanal touch, including a top-selling, savory granola which has turned about to be the perfect companion to cottage cheese, avocado toast, salads and more. Even better, all of our granolas are gluten and dairy free, meeting the dietary and lifestyle needs of a growing number of consumers.

I believe that we truly are what we eat and that food has the power to harm or the power to heal. I also believe that healthy food can AND should taste really, really good.

Grounded Granola FAQs

Yes! All of our blends are made with gluten-free oats and no wheat-based ingredients. In addition, the granola is also soy-free!

Our products have been at the Food Processing Center at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Every flavor has tested below the minimum quantitation of 5ppm for gluten. (The FDA says that a product can be labeled GF if it tests under 20ppm.)

Yep. No dairy, no butter, no milk powders. Just whole, plant-based ingredients.

We only use pure maple syrup — no refined sugars, honey, or artificial sweeteners.

Everything is made in small batches in Omaha, Nebraska, under a cottage food license as well as a wholesale permit (licensed, inspected kitchen).

Yes! We offer $4.99 flat-rate shipping anywhere in the U.S. Omaha locals can also choose free porch pickup at checkout.
